Trump Popularity in Steep Decline

Trump is in deep trouble as his favorability ratings remain low in comparison to Biden—all while declining in favor with Republicans.

Recent polls have put Florida governor Ron DeSantis ahead by double digits against the former president in a projected matchup between the two.

Other polls have also been negative for the president—as Trump’s FiveThirtyEight favorability ratings currently stand at negative 19.8%.

This rating is based off of an amalgamation of reputable polls conducted in the past week. Current president Joe Biden’s FiveThirtyEight approval ratings—for his part—stand at negative 8.3%. Not ideal either, but much better than his predecessor.

It therefore seems like Trump’s political stock has been massively devalued as most of the major candidates he endorsed in recent midterm elections also failed to get elected.

His odds at a political comeback to the White House have thus gotten much slimmer—if any of the polling data and midterm results are any indication.
